Below is everything you need to know to get oriented and make the most of your first few days. For quick links and any questions you may have, head to our Substack. We shared an Edge Esmeralda Wiki that has everything you need to know!

You should have received a digital check-in email with details about wristband pickup, meals, the Telegram group link, the Opening Ceremony, and other helpful resources. If you haven’t, please reach out to info@edgeesmeralda.com.

Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony will be held on Saturday evening! If you’re a ticket holder, the details on how to RSVP have been emailed to you. This marks the beginning of a month dedicated to learning, exploring, and building and will set the tone for what’s to come. We’re so excited to celebrate the start of this month!
Social Layer
Social Layer (http://calendar.edgeesmeralda.com) is our shared community calendar. It’s where you’ll discover what’s happening each day and contribute your own sessions.
Use it to:
Browse events, workshops, and meetups across weekly tracks
RSVP to sessions that interest you
Host your own gatherings, from workouts to film screenings to idea salons
We made a quick video tutorial here to walk you through how it works. All events will be listed there, and it’ll stay updated throughout the month.
Bookmark it, check it daily, and feel free to add to it!
Sunday Programming
Every Sunday will include weekly orientation for new arrivals, track-specific Demo Days (starting next week), and men’s and women’s circles in the evenings.
This Sunday, we’ll be kicking off Consciousness Week with a day of community connection, reflection, and celebration:
Sunday, May 26:
11:00am: Meet & Greet + Meditation at The Loft
12:00pm: Community Lunch
1:00–5:00pm: Consciousness Unconference with 10-minute lightning talks
The most up-to-date schedule will always be on Social Layer!
Health Experiments
Week 1 features our health and longevity track, Vital Futures, and includes a series of community-led health experiments you’re invited to join.
Some highlights:
Comprehensive bloodwork on-site
At-home hormone testing kits
Sleep-tracking competitions
Daily practices like group workouts, sauna, and cold plunge
Explore the full list of health tools to try and how to sign up for them on our Health Experiments blog post.
Landing Here
You can think of The Plaza as the heart of the village. It’s surrounded by:
The Hub (405 Healdsburg Ave) - co-working, meeting rooms, deep work
The Loft (120 North Street) - creative co-working, group work, connection
The Wellbeing Space (401 Center St) - kids and families, workouts, social events / hangs
Here are a few tips to help you feel settled:
Start your day with a community workout or wellness session, then head to breakfast with others
Choose one of the venues around The Plaza to spend your morning or afternoon, coworking, meeting people, or simply enjoying the space
For a healthy, subsidized lunch before 2pm, head to Carmella, Croûteaux, or The Burrow.
You can also check out our Village Overview blog post, and add our shared google maps list to your favorites.
Remember to take it slow, and not worry too much about missing things. There is plenty to do, and we have a long time together!
Meet New People
When you arrive, we encourage you to try to meet three new people on your first day. Go up to someone you don’t know and say “Hey!” 🙂. Here are three questions you can use to break the ice:
What brought you to Edge Esmeralda?
What's one thing you're excited to learn or explore this month?
If you could collaborate on any project, what would it be?
We can't wait to see you this weekend!!!
