TLDR
📆 Calendar: Please use Social Layer as your go-to calendar for all Esmeralda sessions.
💬 Telegram: The most important comms channel is the Telegram group. You have a link in your ticket confirmation and check-in email. Once you’re in, keep an eye on the “Organizer Announcements” channel. You can mute other channels, and please be sparing with your messages (every notification is a micro-tax on everyone’s attention!
🎟️ Wristband Pickup: Daily from 11:30am - 1:30pm at The Hub (405 Healdsburg ave).

🚲 Bikes: For information on how to rent bikes, head to our transportation post.
🥗 Meals: $10 subsidized lunch is available Mon–Fri from 11:30am to 2:00pm at Carmella, The Burrow, and Costeaux.

This guide includes everything you need to know about attending Edge Esmeralda, from programming and tickets to housing, logistics, and community norms. Most sections link out to more detailed posts or resources, so you can dive deeper wherever needed. We’re so excited to experience village life with you all!
1. Overview
Edge Esmeralda is a month-long popup village, running from May 24 – June 21, for people building at the frontiers of science, technology, and culture. Edge Esmeralda is a prototype for something bigger: a permanent town called Esmeralda.
2. Venues
You can think of The Plaza as the heart of the village. It’s surrounded by:
The Hub (405 Healdsburg Ave) - co-working, meeting rooms, deep work.
Hours: 7am-10pm
The Loft (120 North Street) - creative co-working, group work, connection.
Hours: 9am-10pm
The Wellbeing Space (401 Center St) - families, workouts, social events/ hangs.
Hours: 8am-10pm
3. Social Layer
Social Layer (http://calendar.edgeesmeralda.com) is our shared community calendar. It’s where you’ll discover what’s happening each day and contribute your own sessions.
Use it to:
Browse events, workshops, and meetups across weekly tracks
RSVP to sessions that interest you
Host your own gatherings, from workouts to film screenings to idea salons

3. Gyms & Wellness
We’ve partnered with three local gyms to offer discounted memberships. You can redeem these rates by showing your wristband in person:
World's Gym Healdsburg: $30 monthly membership (originally $60). Open 24 hours and located close by Hotel Trio.
Motion Fitness: $35 monthly membership (originally $50). Open 24 hours and located right downtown!
Parkpoint Health Club: 10% off memberships. Also located right downtown!
4. Weekly Themes & Programming
The month is centered around four core weekly themes, with a cohort of residents and fellows living onsite throughout. While some programming is curated in advance, much of it is emergent.

Week 3: Environments of Tomorrow (June 8–15)

5. Ticket Prices
You can apply to join and purchase weeklong tickets here. We have weekday and weekend passes available as well:
Weekday Day Pass — $205: Access to all public programming and communal spaces for a single weekday
Weekend Day Pass — $260: Includes Saturday or Sunday programming, socials, and evening events
Full Weekend Pass — $460: From Friday evening through Sunday night—perfect for a full immersive taste of Esmeralda
Note on our refund policy: All ticket sales are final. we do not offer refunds. However, you can change the dates of your attendance if your plans shift.
6. Logistics
Everything you need to plan your time on the ground: housing, transportation, meals, kids programming, and the layout of the village.
7. Community Norms & Values
Edge Esmeralda is built on four guiding principles: Co-creation, Multidisciplinarity, Multigenerationality, and a Default Healthy environment.
