Week 4: Emergent Futures
Our final week of Edge Esmeralda, featuring demos and experiments shaped by a month of collective work.
Weeklong, weekend, and day passes are still available here! Prices rise every Monday.
What to Expect
Over the past month, Edge Esmeralda has become a prototype for the future, experimenting with ideas and systems at the frontier of science, technology, and culture. Over 300 residents have been developing projects at the frontier of neurotech, AI, health & biotech, infrastructure, and community design.
Rather than formal programming, this final week opens up space for demos, installations, collaborative work, and spontaneous gathering.
Programming will be emergent and shaped by the people who’ve been building here all month: participants from the Long Journey Residency, Edge City Fellowship, and World Builder Residency, leading researchers from Stanford, Berkeley, and the Meaning Alignment Institute. You’ll also meet independent founders, artists, technologists and community builders, all sharing what they’ve been working on.
The week (June 15–21) also includes several anchor events open to all visitors, including
Cybernetic Society Summit on June 15th
Closing Ceremony on June 20th
If you've been curious about what's happening in Healdsburg, this is your week!

Cybernetic Society Summit
On June 15, we're hosting the Cybernetic Society Summit in partnership with cyber•Fund and Gensyn: a one-day forum exploring what society could look like in a world of ambient AI.
We'll explore decentralized infrastructure, verifiable AI, governance experiments, and early deployments across fields like science, education, and public health. Speakers include leaders from OpenAI, Stanford, Gensyn, the Meaning Alignment Institute, cyber•Fund, and more.
Free to attend, and $30 roundtrip bus from SF available. RSVP here!
The World's Fair by World Foundation / TFH
Hosted by the World Builder Residency, this “world fair” demo event showcases tools built for the World ecosystem—social apps, games, marketplaces, and more—designed to serve both Edge Esmeralda and World’s 26M+ users. Builders have spent the past month prototyping with World ID, World Chain, and EdgeOS: Edge City’s open-source stack for peer-to-peer societies. Join us to explore what’s emerging (and maybe even get Orbed)!

Closing Ceremony
We’ll be closing out the month on June 20 with a special evening gathering at Hoot Owl Farm, a dinner and celebration of everything that’s unfolded at Edge Esmeralda.
Expect shared food, ambient music, and a series of interactive stations, installations, and surprises that showcase the people, projects, and friendships that have taken root over the month.
Together, we’ll honor what’s been built, share what’s still emerging, and close this shared journey with a bit of magic. RSVP here!
